Yes, you should always require proof of insurance

Do I need to have insurance In addition to the builders insurance?
Yes your bank will require you to have a policy, check with the bank when you get your construction loan.

Are you a licensed general contractor?
Yes, we have a Tennessee and Georgia contractor license

Do you offer a home warranty and if so what is the coverage?
Yes, standard one year warranty

Will there be on site presence from your company?
We always have a construction supervisor present for each stage of the building process.

If I live out of town how will I be kept informed of the progress of my home?
We will provide you with a construction schedule and update as needed. In addition, we can take pictures and e-mail them to you.

How long will it take to finish my home?
Approximately 4-6 months depending on weather and other factors

Will I need to be on site anytime during the construction of my home?
We strongly recommend that you be present for the electrical rough-in. At any point you may schedule an appointment to tour the house with our supervisor.

What is the follow up procedure of your company after we have moved in?
Our company has a one month, five month and eleven month follow up. You will be mailed a Warranty Work Request form to complete for each of these dates.

What price range homes have you built?
$100,000 to $1,000,000 +

Do I need to have a contract with my builder?
Yes a contract should outline your responsibilities and the responsibilities of the contractor to ensure that both parties understand what is required of each of them.
